ATLAS
Searching for harmony’s coherent relations of opposites and the perpetual movement of life through the cycle concept, I felt the need to depict the life-giving water element that envelops the earth and stone of this planet, of the globe. I tried to convert the conventional representation of the atlas in order to express the struggle of air, water and soil, inspired by the Heraclitus "enantiodromia" motivated by the fire.
The album " Atlas " harmony’s coherent relations of opposites and instant depiction of flow was created by Maria Matala and printed on May 2012 . The art works iare from her personnal collection up to this date. This album is unique and belongs to the artist.
