The water element depicted lives fully and moves perpetually, wanting to come out of the canvas. The spatula painting gives relief and expresses the power, intensity, movement and colors of water and the playfulness with air. Unity, eternal change, and the unbroken causality dominate the cosmic order and direct my gesture.

During this voyage, the other face of water made its appearance. From a life-giving sea it turned to a refugees’ deathly sink. Daily, souls are lost into the Mediterranean waters, whose strength is far greater than all the lives swallowed.

Art, for me, is a pretext. Expressing the nature’s eternal dance of opposite components is my aim. In my dreams or in real life, art, in my opinion, is expressed by vivid colors and has life and pulse of its own. Through the depiction of storm or calm, I try to talk about human moods, passions, creation, love and death. Communicating with nature helps me communicate and understand myself. Living in this ecosystem, sensible to the nature’s protection, and seeking in nature my inner measure, I try to join with my own human nature.
